The 3-day International Conference CIrClE2018 “Challenges for the Islands in the era of Circular Economy” ended on saturday 22 of September 2018, in Chania, Crete, Greece, at the premises of the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania.
More than 280 participants – such as sponsors and SMEs – from 21 different countries, including North Africa, were registered to the Conference.
In this context, the Business forum, organized by CUEIM for the Interreg MED Green Growth Community, has been very successful with more than 40 B2B and B2G meetings held. In the projects’ exhibition area, more than 20 different co-financed projects had the opportunity to present their ideas to the public.
Moreover, the first draft of the “Best Practices Catalogue” has been presented, to spread innovation all over the MED area and beyond.
