MED Green Growth Community – TWG workshop

The Interreg MED Green Growth Community is organizing a TWG event in Thessaloniki (Greece).

The idea is to support the capitalization work of the Green Growth Community with the analysis and transfer of the results delivered by Modular Projects. In this way it is possible to reach, at an EU level, the stakeholders and to create some policy recommendations for policy makers.

The working groups’ thematic are developed within the context of the EU Circular Economy Action Plan as adopted by the European Commission last year, in order to stimulate the transition towards a circular economy, bost global competitiveness, foster sustainable economic growth and generate new jobs.

The TWGs will be composed by partners of the Modular Projects of the MED Green Growth Community, SYNGGI Associated Partners and will be moderated by a SYNGGI partner having the most relevant experience for the respective theme.

CUEIM will be the moderator of TWG 4 “Competitiveness and Innovation”

• TWG 1 – Production and Consumption: Resource efficiency
• TWG 2 – Production and Consumption: Smart and Green Public Services
• TWG 3 – Waste prevention & management
• TWG 4 – Competitiveness and Innovation

The invitation for the event is extended (besides all SYNGGI partners) to external experts.
