MedArtSal: the thematic clustering workshops on “Food salt and other food products from the salinas for the gastronomy” and on “Cosmetic products, treatments and therapies from the salinas” will be held in Tunisia from 15th to 17th March 2023
In the framework of the thematic clustering workshops organized by the MedArtSal project partner, Tunisian – Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the workshops on “Food salt and other food products from the salinas for the gastronomy” and on “Cosmetic products, treatments and therapies from the salinas” will be held at Hotel Rosa Beach Monastir, Tunisia, between 15th and 17th of March.
The workshops will be realized with the aim to contribute to the salinas’ and stakeholders’ engagement for networking process and so to the strengthening of the Mediterranean salinas network, as well as to underline different aspects of the diversification of products and services offered by these salinas in the light of their environmental sustainability.
Local and international experts and MedArtSal testimonials will deepen together the great potential of salinas, with a specific focus on the big variety of gastronomy and cosmetic products that can be obtained, for several utilization options.
The three days activities will start on 15th of March at Hotel Rosa Beach Monastir, where will be held the workshop under the theme “Food salt and other food products from the salinas for the gastronomy”.
The following day, 16th March, will be realized a field visit to the Tunisian Pilot Action salinas Sabkhet Sidi El Heni managed in cooperation with the project partner Saida, to offer the opportunity to better know one of the project success stories, more focused on the utilization of the salinas products in the cosmetic field.
On 17th of March, participants will be back to the Hotel Rosa Beach Monastir to attend the last workshop under the theme “Cosmetic products, treatments and therapies from the salinas”.
